Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI ID Photo mobile application ("App") provided by Wei Wenxin ("Developer", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

AI ID Photo is an AI-powered application that generates ID/passport-style photos from user-uploaded photographs. The App uses Google's Gemini API to process and generate photos.

The App offers:

• Free tier: First generation free; subsequent uses require watching a 30-second rewarded ad. Output resolution: 512px.
• Pro subscription: Up to 20 generations per day, no ads, all photo formats, high resolution (1024px), custom sizing, print layout features.

2. Subscription Terms

• Monthly plan: $1.99 USD/month (or equivalent in local currency)
• Annual plan: $12.99 USD/year (or equivalent in local currency)
• Payment is charged through your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• No free trial is offered
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

• Use the App to create fraudulent or counterfeit identity documents
• Upload photos of other people without their consent
• Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or deceptive purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use automated systems or bots to access the App

4. Intellectual Property

• Your photos: You retain all rights to photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it through our AI service for the sole purpose of generating your ID photo.
• Generated photos: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the AI-generated photos for their intended purpose (ID documents, applications, etc.).
• The App: All rights to the App's design, code, and branding belong to the Developer.

5. Disclaimers

IMPORTANT:

• AI-generated photos are not guaranteed to meet official requirements of any government agency, embassy, or institution. Requirements vary by country and may change without notice.
• It is your responsibility to verify that generated photos comply with the specific requirements of your intended use.
• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the App or AI service.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to rejected ID photo applications, data loss, or service interruptions.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

• You may stop using the App and cancel your subscription at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
