Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MofuArt (もふアート) mobile application ("App") provided by Wei Wenxin ("Developer", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
MofuArt is an AI-powered application that transforms pet photos into artistic illustrations in various styles. The App uses Google's Gemini API to process and generate artwork.
The App offers:
- Free tier: 3 free generations with watermark. Additional generations can be earned by watching rewarded ads.
- Credit packs (consumable): Purchase credit packs (10, 30, or 80 credits) to generate watermark-free artwork. Credits do not expire.
Available art styles include: Ukiyo-e, Watercolor, Oil Painting, Anime, Pixar 3D, Sumi-e, Vintage Poster, Stained Glass, Cosmic, Cyberpunk, Royal Portrait, New Year Card, and more.
2. In-App Purchases
- Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases — each credit is used once per generation
- Credits are non-refundable once used
- Purchased credits do not expire
- Payment is charged through your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- There is no subscription — all purchases are one-time consumable credit packs
- Refunds for unused credits are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy
3. Rewarded Ads
Free users may watch rewarded video ads (provided by Google AdMob) to earn additional generation credits. Watching ads is entirely voluntary. Ad availability may vary by region and is subject to change.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:
- Upload photos that contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Upload photos of animals being harmed or abused
- Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or deceptive purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
5. Intellectual Property
- Your photos: You retain all rights to photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it through our AI service for the sole purpose of generating artwork.
- Generated artwork: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive license to use the AI-generated artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes (social media sharing, printing, personal enjoyment, etc.).
- The App: All rights to the App's design, code, and branding belong to the Developer.
6. Disclaimers
IMPORTANT:
- AI-generated artwork may vary in quality and style accuracy. Results are not guaranteed to match your exact expectations.
- The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the App or AI service.
- Generated artwork is intended for personal use. Commercial use is not explicitly licensed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to unsatisfactory generation results, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credit packs in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, but provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability survive
- Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for Terms violations
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
